Idris Elba “Suavely” Addresses James Bond Scandal
On Tuesday, the latest author of the James Bond novels made a comment dismissing the prospect of actor Idris Elba being cast as the next James Bond. In an interview published on the Daily Mail, Anthony Horowitz commented that he believed Elba to be “too street” and not “suave” enough to play 007.
The remarks sent off a firestorm, forcing the author to quickly issue an apology.
The only one who had not made a comment on the issue was Elba himself. But on Wednesday he discretely posted the following on his Instagram account:
